Northport Covenant Church belongs to the Evangelical Covenant Church, a growing denomination of more than 800 churches in the United States. We are part of the Great Lakes Conference of the Covenant Church, which includes 82 churches spread throughout Western Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and the Lower Peninsula of Michigan.
Worship Begins at 10:30am in the Sanctuary. Our worship style is informal and not very liturgical, with a blend of contemporary music and traditional hymns. We worship together young and old and pray for each other and listen to the Word of God.
One Sunday each month we celebrate the Lord’s Supper. We do not require membership in our church or our denomination, but we invite all who put their faith in Jesus and are committed to following him to partake in the sacrament.
After celebrating the Lord’s Supper, we gather in the basement for a fellowship meal. The food (brought in “potluck” style) is always delicious, we really look forward to this time to fellowship and get to know our church family better. Everyone is welcome to join in our fellowship meals.
